Accredited by the BCS (The Chartered Institute of IT), our Business Analysis Foundation course introduces you to the techniques, tools and principles used in business analysis preparing you to successfully pass the BCS Business Analysis Foundation exam. The BCS Business Analysis Foundation allows you to analyse your organisation’s business needs and create solutions that will fulfil the business requirements.

About This Course

This BCS Business Analysis Foundation course is appropriate for anyone requiring an understanding of Business Analysis including business analysts, system developers, business managers and their staff, business change managers and project managers.
It provides an introduction to all aspects of business analysis including appreciation of business situation, requirements engineering, business process modelling and managing benefits.
The BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis is an optional module for the BCS Business Analysis Diploma.

Prerequisites:

Familiarity with projects, programmes and Project/Programme management is useful but not essential.

Study Time (eLearning):

To complete the Foundation level, we recommend about 25 hours for learning and reflection.

Exams

Take your BCS® Foundation and/or Practitioner exam online! This exam option is available using your own webcam and microphone (Valid ID required) and allows you to take the exam in the comfort of your own home at a convenient time without the need for a physical invigilator. It is ideal for candidates who may not have access to exam centres or those who may not be able to get to an exam centre. Please note a minimum of 3 weeks notice is normally applicable to arrange online exams.

Technical Requirements:

Any recent Desktop/Laptop/Tablet with internet connectivity and based on a modern operating system (Windows8®️,Windows7®️, Windows Vista®️, MAC OSX, Linux, iPad iOS 7, Kindle Fire, Android based Tablets) with a latest version of the Web Browser viz. Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 11, (Safari on MAC OSX).

  • 1GB RAM [512MB RAM] & at least 1GB of available hard disk space.
  • The learning application is based on HTML5 technologies and therefore the latest version of Web Browser is a pre-requsite ( Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 11).
