ITIL® 4 Foundation is an entry-level ITIL® qualification that provides an understanding of the main concepts behind ITIL®, including the life cycle stages and the terminology used.

Prerequisites:
The exam doesn’t have any prerequisites, and you don’t need to have any prior knowledge of IT Service Management to understand this course.

Who is Course Suitable for:
ITIL® Foundation is suitable for anyone working in IT services, or anyone who is considering a career in IT. Also suitable for students who have studied COBIT 5 or ISO/IEC 20000, although this is not a requirement.
Exams
The format of the Foundation exam is as follows:
40 multiple-choice questions. 60-minute duration with a 65% pass mark. The exam can be taken online with a web proctor (with PEOPLECERT). Students must have completed the ITIL Foundation course before requesting their exam voucher.
